COST ESTIMATOR

If you have a Bachelor’s Degree in a field related to Business, Accounting or Manufacturing, you will be interested in learning more about this position.

As a Cost Estimator you will support our Sales Team by preparing accurate, timely and competitive bids resulting in profitable sales and positive customer relationships.  You will create Job Tickets based on the required volume, specifications and tool construction.  You will work closely with our Core Team including Sales, CAD, Engineering and Manufacturing.  Key competencies include a commitment to excellence, an analytical approach to problem solving, and computer expertise.

ENVIRONMENTAL, HEALTH AND SAFETY COORDINATOR

Position Overview

Maintain programs in the area of industrial health with heavy emphasis on environmental compliance for our manufacturing operations. Perform assigned tasks in compliance with EPA, DEQ, OSHA, MIOSHA, ISO and Customer Regulations.

Brief Job Description

  • Enforce EHS policies to ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations.
  • Assist with the maintenance of the ISO14001 EMS; Conduct internal audits for Health, Safety and Environmental issues and assist with the implementation of a continuous improvement plan to see all issues are addressed, corrected, maintained.
  • Perform IH surveys; Air sampling, Noise, UV, Ventilation, etc. Responsible for proper use and care of IH equipment:
  • Maintain chemical inventories including Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
  • Participate as a member of the company Emergency Response/Crisis Management Team
  • Ensure compliance to customer environmental reporting requirements.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in EHS or related Field; Courses in Industrial Hygiene Industrial Safety, and Environmental Compliance
  • IATA Certification and HAZWHOPPER preferred (we will train)
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written skills
  • Get / Hold Storm Water Management Operator Certificate (we will train)

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

We will train you to:

  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance.
  • Assist with the installation of new equipment.
  • Repair equipment and machines; i.e. printing presses, die cutting presses, slitter/sheeters, batch ovens, etc.

Qualifications and Skills:

The qualified maintenance candidate will have at least 2 years of proven experience performing job duties similar to those listed above, a working knowledge of common computer applications and will own their own tools or be willing to purchase them through payroll deduction. You must have a valid Driver’s License.

Requirements include the ability to stand, walk, crawl under equipment, climb ladders and lift up to 50 pounds.

MANUFACTURING TECHNICIAN

Entry level light industrial position in a clean and climate controlled facility.  All training provided!

Affiliate Openings:


Our newest facility, KPMF USA, includes a 63″ web coating machine that has been built for power, speed and flexibility. It features a reverse roll and knife over roll coating head. Capabilities include single sided coating using a choice of several processes, multi-zone drying and in-line lamination. This facility is located adjacent to Kay Automotive Graphics in Lake Orion, MI.


MACHINE OPERATOR (CONVERTING) – 1st/2nd/3rd Shift

  • Evaluate orders and specifications to determine set-up configurations.
  • Set up and operate the coating machine line which includes unwind, coating station, accumulator, drying oven and rewind.
  • Make adjustments to the coating line to maintain machine performance and product quality; may include changing idler types, tread up configuration and operational cycles.
  • Keep the coater running to produce a high volume of adhesive and topcoat product lines.
  • Safely use an overhead crane to move material.

SLITTER/REWINDER OPERATOR – 1st/2nd/3rd Shift

  • Evaluate orders and specifications to determine set-up configurations.
  • Operate the turret slitter, rewinder to cut vinyl and urethane.
  • Make adjustments to the slitter to maintain machine performance and product quality; may include changing the rollers, blades, speed and tension.
  • Safely use an overhead crane to move material.
